Blues Traveler’s Popper Sets Up Solo Tour, Letterman Date

Fully recovered after an angioplasty surgery last month, Blues Traveler frontman John Popper is scheduled to kick off a solo tour on September 1.

Popper will hit clubs across the country in support of “Zygote,” his upcoming solo album, which is set to arrive on September 7. In the midst of the two-month tour, Popper will make a high-profile stop by the set of “The Late Show With David Letterman” on September 9 for an appearance that will air on September 10.
