Ozzy, Sepultura, Slayer Turn Up On "Ozzfest Live"

April 28 [12:00 EST] -- As the stalemate continues between Ozzy Osbourne and the Meadowlands sports complex over this year's Ozzfest line-up, fans can relive the relatively peaceful days of last year's Ozzy-lead metal extravaganza when a live CD hits stores this week.

The Ozzfest Live" will appear in record store racks on Tuesday, boasting live cuts from Sepultura, Slayer, Biohazard, Ozzy himself, and others from last year's line-up.

The success of last year's all-day metal-fest in southern California prompted this year's full-blown tour, and provided the performances featured on "The Ozzfest Live," which was recorded on October 26, 1996 at the Glen Helen Blockbuster Pavillion.

The live set captures Coal Chamber ("Loco"), Cellophane ("Ride Thy Neighbor"), Earth Crisis ("Broken Foundation"), Powerman 5000 ("Organized"), Neurosis ("Locust Star"), Fear Factory ("Replica"), Biohazard ("These Eyes"), Sepultura ("Attitude"), Slayer ("Angel of Death"), and Ozzy ("Perry

Mason").

The CD also features a full-motion cover of Ozzy on-stage, a la the cover of Tool's "Aenima," so if you missed the actual show, you can try to recreate the effect of Ozzy's live show by tilting the CD back and forth and watching Ozzy's arms move. Of course, if that doesn't quite capture the original show, you can look into the "Ozzfest Live" home video, which also hits stores on Tuesday.
