Black Crowes' Harsch Returns To The Stage

Two weeks after emergency surgery sidelined the Black Crowes' Ed Harsch in the midst of the band's European tour, the keyboardist returned to the stage earlier this week for a concert in Berlin, Germany.

As we previously reported (see "Black Crowes Keyboardist Sidelined By Emergency Surgery"), Harsch was forced to undergo emergency surgery in Belgium to correct a twisted intestinal tract. The Crowes originally thought that Harsch wouldn't be able to rejoin the lineup for at least a month, but doctors apparently cleared him in time to return for the July 6 show.

The Black Crowes are scheduled to complete its European run of dates on July 25 with a performance at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London, scars and all. After traveling to Tokyo for the Fuji Rock Festival at the end of July, the Crowes plan on returning to the States for another round of touring in the fall.
