May 2 [10:00 EST] -- Biz Markie ran into minor legal trouble, but it's nothing that he hasn't been through 19 times before.
Wednesday night in New York City, the clown prince of rap was arrested for driving with a license that had been suspended 19 times. Biz was pulled over at a checkpoint in the Harlem district while driving a 1997 Mercedes.
Police say the only form of identification that Biz could produce was a boat license, but that shouldn't surprise Biz fans. His fondness for boats goes all the way back to the video for his 1988 classic "The Vapors."
Biz, who is due to play the Tibetan Freedom Concert in New York City next month, was fined $250 and given a conditional discharge.
