Hi, I'm Kurt Loder, and this is "The Week In Rock."
There was a bit of news on Friday in the investigation of the still-unsolved murder of rapper Notorious B.I.G. in Los Angeles last February. There's been nothing new in this case since police released a sketch of a suspect last March, but now LA police have reportedly impounded a Chevrolet Impala that matches the description of the car used in the killing of Biggie Smalls.
Oddly, as the "Los Angeles Times" reports, the car is believed to belong to one Keith Davis -- who turns out to be the uncle of Orlando Anderson, the "Crips" gang member who's a prime suspect in the earlier murder of rapper Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas. In any event, while Davis may own the car, his lawyer says he does not resemble the police sketch of Biggie's murderer. The "Times" says police are now wondering if the Impala was borrowed from Davis, but the police themselves are being tight-lipped. We'll keep you posted.
