Puffy Makes Good On Charitable Promise

December 3 [10:00 EDT] -- Sean "Puffy" Combs made good on a promise we first reported about in May when he hit the stage in New York City on Monday and handed over proceeds from "I'll Be Missing You" to the children of the late Notorious B.I.G.

Before a performance at New York's Madison Square Garden, Puff Daddy presented a check to Biggie's mother who will use the money to establish a trust fund for Biggie's children.

While the check Puffy presented was made out for $2 million, he had an additional surprise during his announcement.

"When we wrote the check, it was for a certain amount, but we found out today it went up, so disregard what you see on the check," Puffy explained. "We're going to write another one when I leave here. We wrote the check for Christopher Wallace's children for $3 million. That's one of the first checks. It says $2 million, but we going to change that."
