Big Tymers Get "Roll On," Map Out Live Dates

Fronted by Cash Money Records co-CEO Bryan "Baby" Williams and the label's in-house beatmaster Mannie Fresh, the Big Tymers have scored a hit with their just-released third album, "I Got That Work," which has sold more than 350,000 copies in just three weeks.

Now the Big Tymers have announced plans to launch a tour in support of "I Got That Work," starting on June 19 at the House Of Blues in New Orleans, with sporadic dates scheduled into August.

The first single and video from "I Got That Work" is for the track "Get Your Roll On," and Williams and Fresh recently talked about the song and its underlying message during an interview with the MTV Radio Network.

"It's stunt-tastic," Williams said.

"[It's] ball-rrific," Fresh agreed before explaining the track.

know, in life [you should] 'Get Your Roll On.' That means get it going, just whatever you're doing, get it going. Don't just sit around and wait for it to happen, 'Get Your Roll On.' If you're going to buy some rims, graduate from college, or whatever, get your roll on and make something shake." [RealAudio]

Get Your Roll On" has been a part of the Big Tymers' live set for quite some time and has been performed by the group on its last few outings, including this past spring's Cash Money/Ruff Ryders Tour.

"We've been doing 'Get Your Roll On' from our last two tours," Fresh said, "so the song is kind of busy and is already kind of made. The crowd participation [in the track] has always been there. It was just something that we started saying in the chorus of another song, and the crowd

catches on so quick that

now we're just going to come with it [on its own]. We've been performing it for what?"

"About two or three years," [RealAudio] Williams said.

The next single from "I Got That Work" will be for the track "#1 Stunna," which will also be featured on the soundtrack to "The Original Kings Of Comedy," due out on July 25. The Big Tymers will likely shoot a video for "#1 Stunna" prior to kicking off its limited tour.
