For the big screen version of the popular Nickelodeon animated series, Dylan, Beck, and Busta join Lenny Kravitz, En Vogue alum Dawn Robinson, Iggy Pop, Lisa Loeb, B-Real of Cypress Hill, Patti Smith, Phife of A Tribe Called Quest, and the B-52s' Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson, and Cindy Wilson, all of whom provide the voices of day-old babies.
Beck, Busta and company only turn up in the movie long enough to belt out a song, "This World Is Strange To Me," which was produced by Devo's Mark Mothersbaugh, who also composed the score for the film.
This will not be the first Nickelodeon-related project for Iggy or B-52 Pierson as both performers have appeared on the Nick series "The Adventures of Pete and Pete." In 1993, Pierson turned up in an episode with R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe, while Iggy landed a recurring role as the father of Nona Mecklenberg.
"Rugrats" will hit theaters in November.
