Fatboy Slim is currently slaving away on an album that would turn up before the end of the year.
The DJ's record label said that the electronic guru is currently in the midst of recording his own album, titled "You've Come a Long Way Baby." The album, a follow-up to the dance favorite, "Better Living Through Chemistry," is expected to contain 10 tracks and will be out around Oct. 20 on Astralwerks Records.
According to the label spokesperson, the DJ already has five tracks completed -- three of which are called "Gangster Trippin'," "Build It Up," and the single "Rockafeller Skank," for which the video recently started airing on MTV.
He is also scheduled to do about six West Coast DJ dates around the release of the self-produced album, though those have yet to be announced.
Fatboy Slim is recording "You've Come a Long Way Baby" in his home-studio in Brighton, England, which the artist has dubbed, "The House of Love."
