Beasties' Yauch Puts Cadillac On Auction Block For Charity

If you want to ride in the type of style and luxury usually reserved for a Beastie Boy, and you have a few thousand grand burning a hole on your pocket, your prayers might be answered.

Beastie Adam Yauch has put his 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D'elegance on the online auction block to benefit the Milarepa Fund's pro-Tibet cause. The black four-door sedan boasts blue shag carpeting, whitewall tires, blue nylon seats, an Alpine stereo, an alarm system, a cellphone handset, and less than 25,000 miles.

"Back when we lived in L.A., it was kind of like the band limo," Yauch boasts on Milarepa's Web site, where the car is being auctioned off (at auction.milarepa.org).

Users can visit the site to view photos of the car, and bids are starting at $12,000. As always, window shopping is free.
