After settling creative differences with her label, singer Charli Baltimore has finally set a March 23 release date for her debut album, "Ice."Even though she doesn't have a record in stores yet, Baltimore has already released a pair of single to help lay the groundwork for the new album's release, and has just shot a video with the Wu-Tang Clan's Ghostface Killah for a song from "Ice" entitled "Stand Up." Aside from Ghostface, Baltimore also enlisted the rap collective's Rza to produce a few of the tracks on the new album, and she talked with the MTV Radio Network recently about how she hooked-up with the Wu-Tang mastermind. "How they work is crazy," Baltimore said, "because we had called Rza to do the tracks, and he was like, 'I don't really work with women too much.' So, we sent him some of my more crazier songs and he then went, 'Yo, I'll work with her.' So, I was like mad happy." Aside from the Rza and Ghostface Killah, Baltimore also collaborated with Gang Starr's
DJ Premier on a song called "Everybody Wanna Know." No word yet on when the video for "Stand Up" is expected to drop, but we'll keep you posted.
