Blink-182, Bad Religion Pitch In To "Heal The Bay"

Blink-182, Lit, Bad Religion, The Rentals, MXPX, and Reel Big Fish are among the artists contributing tracks to the new charity album "The Solution To Benefit Heal The Bay" due out on Mojo Records on May 9.

The boys in Blink-182 have offered up a live version of "Dammit," the trio's first alternative hit, while Bad Religion and The Rentals have both supplied unreleased cuts entitled "Lose As Directed" and "Simple Life," respectively.

Reel Big Fish also provide a skanked-up cover of Lita Ford's "Kiss Me Deadly," while Hepcat and Ozomatli have both contributed live cuts and rare b-sides to the benefit compilation.

Proceeds from the record, a planned double-album set, will go to Heal The Bay, a nonprofit organization founded in 1985 to protect and preserve the Santa Monica Bay and the Southern California coastal waters.
