Sting, Marc Anthony, 'NSYNC Added To Grammy Awards

Sting, Marc Anthony, and Buena Vista Social Club's Ibrahim Ferrer are the latest artists to be added to the list of performers for this year's Grammy Awards, while 'NSYNC, Busta Rhymes, Macy Gray, and Phil Collins will serve as presenters for the event.

Elton John, who will receive the Legend Award in honor of his thirty-plus year career, also plans to perform at the 42nd Annual Grammy Awards, being held on February 23 in Los Angeles. Fellow pianist and songwriter Billy Joel will narrate the all-star tribute to John.

For his performance, Sting, who will be honored the night before with a Rock The Vote Patrick Lippert Award (see "Bono And Sting To Receive Rock The Vote Awards"), plans to premiere his new single, "Desert Rose," from his Grammy-nominated LP, "Brand New Day."

Other artists already confirmed to play this year's Grammy Awards include Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, Kid Rock, Santana, TLC, Ricky Martin

and Whitney Houston, amongst others.

Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, and Mary J. Blige will help hand out honors in the 98 categories that will be announced during the three-hour telecast of the 42 Annual Grammy Awards, beginning at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on CBS.
