Aguilera Beefs Up Tour

She may have fallen out of favor with Eminem, but Christina Aguilera still has plenty of other fans, and the teen songbird has beefed up her U.S. tour in an effort to appease more of them.

After a string of state-fair dates, radio shows, and Canadian concerts, the Sears and Levi’s sponsored portion of the young singer’s U.S. tour officially kicks off on July 31 in Kansas City. The trek originally had lined up dates through September 25 in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Aguilera has now tacked on twelve more dates, adding destinations such as New Orleans, Dallas, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Phoenix to her itinerary.

For fans of Aguilera, the news is mighty good, considering that a throat infection caused her to cancel a European promotional tour just last week (see “Aguilera’s Sore Throat Cancels Trip” ). The singer was bound for the U.K. to promote the release of her single “I Turn To You” (already a hit
here in the States), but bagged the trip after falling ill while recording her upcoming Spanish album, “Latin Lover Girl,” in Miami.
