Christina Aguilera is prepping for her extensive North American tour this summer, and on Friday the songstress turned up in Hollywood to help induct country crooner Garth Brooks into the Hollywood Bowl Hall Of Fame.
"Variety" reports that Aguilera participated in a musical dedication to Brooks, who joined composer John Williams in becoming the first pair of artists to be honored by the famed Hollywood venue.
Starting on July 1 in Milwaukee, Aguilera will be heading out on the road for a pair of intertwining tours, one which includes a run of several state fairs and a separate headlining tour that will raise funds for various youth campaigns (see "Christina Aguilera Announces Tour, Youth Programs").
In related news, Aguilera will issue a special CD-ROM, entitled "Follow Your Dreams," in the fall, which offers fans an in-depth look at how the singer managed to achieve her multi-platinum singing success.
"Follow Your Dreams" will also feature various Aguilera-based trivia games, exclusive photo scrapbooks, and personality quizzes that are to designed to help encourage the user to pursue their own dreams. The "Follow Your Dreams" CD-ROM is expected to arrive in stores this fall, just as Aguilera's tour is winding down.
