Aerosmith Sets Sights On Spring Tour

After deciding to cancel the last half of its current tour in order to give the band a much-needed respite from its grueling schedule, Aerosmith will now look to resume its road duties in the spring of next year, based on a set of concert dates just announced via Ticketmaster.

The band, which is now set to wind down its winter outing after a January 6 stop at the University of Tennessee's campus in Chattanooga, had pulled the plug on several weeks worth of shows in order to provide Aerosmith with its first significant vacation since the band launched its "Nine Lives" tour over a year and a half ago. Band frontman Steven Tyler is also expected to use the tour break in order to fully recover from the knee injury he suffered during a concert in May.

Aerosmith is currently in the home stretch of its abbreviated winter tour, which is set to roll into the Pepsi Arena in Albany, New York tomorrow night. The first set of dates for Aeromsith's spring tour:
