AC/DC Gets The Tribute Treatment From Anthrax, Motörhead, Others

One of metal's most influential groups, AC/DC, is about to get some musical praise from some of rock's heavy hitters.

"Thunderbolt: a Tribute to AC/DC" is a collection of 12 classics from the Australian rockers performed by many of the bands they inspired. Anthrax, Quiet Riot, and members of Ratt, Skid Row, L.A. Guns, Dokken and Motörhead are among the groups who turn up on the album.

The first single from the tribute will be a version of "Walk All Over You" performed by Anthrax's Charlie Banante, Frank Bello and Scott Ian with Dee Snider on vocals. That single will arrive on March 30 while the album will hit stores on April 7.
