Iron Maiden, Queensryche, Ex-Judas Priest Singers Form Group

Three sets of heavy metal's strongest pipes have come together, as Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden, Geoff Tate of Queensryche and Rob Halford, formerly of Judas Priest, have banded together for a project called the Three Tremors.

The trio who will record with producer Roy Z, expect to have an album out in summer, but no further details were available at press time, according to a spokesperson for Halford and Dickinson.

Last week, Tate and Dickinson joined Halford onstage at the latter's concert in London for a rendition of "One You Love to Hate," a song written by Halford, Dickinson and Roy Z that's on Halford's current album, Resurrection.

Also, the three will perform live again next month. The band has been added to a January 9 Mexico City concert already scheduled to feature Iron Maiden and Halford, a Queensryche spokesperson said.
