*NSync Dominate Teen Choice Awards

Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, Sisqó also multiple winners.

Boy band *NSync staked a claim to tops in teen pop, taking home five Teen Choice Awards at a ceremony Sunday in Santa Monica, Calif.

The event, which honors winners selected through online voting, will be broadcast Aug. 22 on Fox.

*NSync — who broke sales records this spring with the release of No Strings Attached — won awards for Choice Single with "Bye Bye Bye" (RealAudio excerpt); Song of the Summer and Choice Music Video for "It's Gonna Be Me" (RealAudio excerpt); Choice Pop Group; and group member Justin Timberlake won Male Hottie of the Year award.

Rival boy band Backstreet Boys took home one award, Choice Album, for last year's Millennium, which is the second-fastest-selling LP behind No Strings Attached.

Teen singer Britney Spears won the Choice Female Artist award, as well as the honors for Female Hottie of the Year. Jessica Simpson landed two awards — the Choice Breakout Artist award and the Choice Love Song, for "Where You Are," her duet with Nick Lachey of 98°.

Other music award winners were R&B singer Sisqó, who took home awards for Choice Male Artist and Choice Rap/Hip-Hop/R&B Track ("Thong Song"), and pop-punks Blink-182, who won Choice Rock Band.
