Pop-rockers Matchbox Twenty have announced the dates for the first leg of their North American headlining tour.
The Mad Season tour, which will hit mostly college arenas, kicks off Sept. 12 in New Orleans.
The first leg runs through Oct. 2, with the Jayhawks aboard as the opening act. The full trek will move into 2001.
