Bluesy rockers Darlahood are hard at work on their second full-length, major-label album in Woodstock, N.Y. The album, due in the late summer, may contain an unlikely collaboration with former Zapp leader Roger Troutman. Apparently, Darlahood leader Luke Janklow mentioned to the president of Reprise Records, Howie Klein, that he was a fan of Troutman's, describing an influential early '80s show by Troutman in explicit detail, and Klein promptly got the "More Bounce to the Ounce" singer hooked up with Janklow to work on some songs together ...
