After telling Mademoiselle magazine she'll be through with

TLC after her 2-year-old son, Tron,

reaches kindergarten, Rozonda "Chilli"

Thomas has issued a statement saying she is not leaving the

R&B girl group.

"In order to clarify the quote in Mademoiselle, I would first

like to say that I love TLC, and I will always be with TLC," Chilli said

in a statement released to MTV News on Monday. "What I

stated to the Mademoiselle reporter is that when my son Tron

reaches kindergarten, I will no longer continue with the 24-hour-a-day,

seven-day-a-week schedule. This in no way means I'm leaving TLC."

Thomas is quoted in the magazine's July issue as saying, "When he gets

to kindergarten, I'm through. That's just the way it's going to be."

Rumors about a TLC breakup have dogged the trio for years. The group's

Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes is working on

a solo album. The group's third member, Tionne

"T-Boz" Watkins, is pregnant and planning her Aug. 19 wedding to her child's father, rapper Mack

10.
