Director Chris Mills has worked with Interpol, Vendetta Red and Mudvayne. In this excerpt from his treatment for Howie Day's "Perfect Time of Day" video, he describes his interpretation:
"We’re all hit with it. Sometimes we can see it coming, other times it comes unexpected, like a cool breeze, or music filtering out of someone’s living room, or the smell of fresh baked bread wafting into your apartment window. It’s the perfect time of day. Where everything seems to have lined up, all the things that are happening to you make sense, and you’re treated to a small dose of inexplicable euphoria..."
