About Silversun Pickups

An embrace of a quiet and delicate repertoire has won the Silversun Pickups substantial acclaim. Taking influence from artists like Elliott Smith and Modest Mouse, lead singer Brian Aubert sings with a voice that is soft but powerful. His strong vocals and the guitar crescendos prevalent in the Los Angeles indie rock band's songs have captured a lot of well-deserved attention for their music. In this 2009 'MTV Unplugged' performance -- taped on location at New York City's Nyehaus -- the West Coasters played in a living room-esque setting for a small audience of very lucky fans.
