Post-hardcore heavyweights Aiden are finally ready to announce the third coming of their heavy, driving, new-Seattle sound. Their latest full-length, Conviction, is a major step forward that fuses the moody darkness of '80s new wavers like The Cure with the high drama of My Chemical Romance. Lead singer wiL Francis describes the album as being, "about loving the darkness that will destroy you." And although that darkness doesn't hit shelves until August 21, we've got Conviction streaming live, start to finish, all this week on The Leak.
