The Brooklyn MC has an old-school side to him both musically and visually, and his sound is a genre-bending one with a definite left field bent. His latest single, "Why Even Try," features Sara Quinn from indie-poppers Tegan And Sara. The hook is irresistibly catchy, sounding like a throwback vintage cut from back in the day. London's sound is catching the ear of tastemakers the world round, and he's already worked with folks like Mark Ronson (in the side project Chauffeur, which also features the Dap Kings and Sam Sparro), Damon Albarn from Blur, Gorillaz and Dave Sitek's Maximum Balloon.
