3. To Enter: The Sweepstakes will be posted on win.mtv.com (the "Web Site"), a web site owned and controlled by MTV Networks, a division of Viacom International Inc. ("MTVN"), starting at or around 10:00 a.m. (ET) on May 17, 2006 and ending at or around 11:59 p.m. (ET) on July 17, 2006. Participants must complete all required fields, including correctly answering a multiple-choice trivia question, on the online Sweepstakes entry form and submit such entry form as directed to be entered into a random drawing. Entries submitted in accordance with these Official Rules shall be referred to herein as the "Eligible Entries." Limit one (1) entry per person or household per day. If an entrant uses multiple e-mail addresses to submit more than one entry for a given day, only the first online entry for that day will count. Limit one prize per person or household. Winner Selection: Up to 36 grand prize winners (each a "Grand Prize Winner") will be selected at random as follows: All Eligible Entries will be segregated regionally by the concert city each Entrant selects as the location nearest to his/her residence (each a "Region") in the online entry form referred to in Paragraph 3 above. There will be eighteen (18) concert dates (each a "Concert Date") designated within the eleven (11) Regions. There may be multiple Concert Dates within any given Region. Prizing: Each Grand Prize Winner will receive a pair of front row tickets to one of the MTVN-designated Concert Dates on Madonna's Confessions Tour (the "Tour"), which includes admittance for Grand Prize Winner and one (1) guest (each, a "Guest") to a specially-designated seat at one U.S. Concert Date on the Tour (the "Grand Prize"). NOTE: ADMITTANCE TO THE CONCERT CONSTITUTES THE COMPLETE GRAND PRIZE AND WINNERS SHALL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ADDITIONAL EXPENSES INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH ACCEPTING THE PRIZE, INCLUDING TRANSPORTATION TO THE CONCERT LOCATION. GRAND PRIZE WINNERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ADDITIONAL EXPENSES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, TRAVEL EXPENSES, ACCOMMODATIONS, MEALS AND BEVERAGES. 7. Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Guests of Grand Prize Winner must be at least 18 years of age at time of prize fulfillment, unless Grand Prize Winner is the parent or legal guardian of such Guest. If any potential Grand Prize Winner(s) cannot be reached during the twenty-four hours in which he or she is contacted, such potential Grand Prize Winner(s) will be disqualified and an alternate Grand Prize Winner may be selected at random from among all of the remaining Eligible Entries received in that potential Grand Prize Winner's respective Region.
Potential Grand Prize Winners will be declared via phone and/or email and must accept or decline the Grand Prize at the time of such notification. MTVN will provide artist's tour management with a list names for all declared Grand Prize Winners and their respective Guests at least 24 hours before the designated Concert Date. If any Grand Prize Winner or Guest's name does not match the names on the guest list at the time of winner check-in, then such Grand Prize Winner and Guest will not gain admittance to the Concert. The name on each Grand Prize Winner and his/her Guest's ID must match the name provided to MTVN by such Grand Prize Winner at the time of winner verification. Grand Prize Winners and their respective Guests must also sign (a) an affidavit of eligibility and liability release, releasing any and all sponsors, third-party agencies (including, but not limited to TPE) and their corporate parents, subsidiaries, affiliated entities, advertising agencies, and any other participating sponsors, and their respective employees from any and all liability, claims, demands and causes of action for personal injury and/or damage, theft, loss, or any other harm suffered in connection with this Sweepstakes or the use or acceptance of the Grand Prize, and (b) except where prohibited, a promotional release granting the right to use his or her name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation. In the event of a dispute over who submitted a winning entry online, the authorized account holder of the winning e-mail account will be declared the Grand Prize Winner. An authorized account holder is defined as the person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. All interpretations of the rules and decisions by MTVN are final. MTVN reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds or believes to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the game or Web Site; to be acting in violation of these Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
