T.T.

Often likened to Justin Timberlake, T.T. is a Portuguese contemporary R&B singer whose eponymous album debut in 2007 spawned a half-dozen hit singles, most notably the Top Five breakout hit "Dança Este Som." Born Tiago Teixeira and hailing from the metropolitan area of Lisbon, Portugal, he made his full-length album debut in 2007 with T.T. on Universal Music and became something of a sensation in Portugal, where he was often likened to American contemporary R&B stars such as Justin Timberlake and Usher. A Top Ten hit on the Portuguese albums chart, T.T. spawned numerous hit singles ("Dança Este Som," "Faz Acontecer," "Lady, Deixa-Te Levar," "Não Olhes Para Trás," "Vem Cá," "Vou Ficar à Espera") and was re-released in 2008 with a bonus disc of remixes and new material. The special edition bonus disc was also released on its own as T.T. Remixes (2008).
