  1. Gospel pop singer/songwriter Tammy Trent has been making music since the early age of six when she first took up playing drums. Distinctly influenced by gospel music, she was inspired by her mother's constant work as a speaker and performer on the Christian scene. By high school, she undoubtedly knew music was her life journey, already playing in several pop and rock bands. After several bouts with record labels and career moves, Trent signed to Sparrow Records in 1999. Her light R&B flair and glossy pop flavoring is sweet and positive.
