  1. Named after a lyric in the Beatles' song, "Savoy Truffle," Ginger' Sling's melodic, rock-inflected pop music was also influenced by Elvis Costello, Superdrag and Elliot Smith. Formerly the lead singer in the Halo Friendlies, Ginger went solo in 2004. The result was a 5-song EP called The Room and appearances on the Vans Warped Tour. Her music has been featured on MTV's "The Real World", "Making the Band", "Pimp My Ride" and "Laguna Beach". She also recorded a song for the feature film, "Sky High" which was released in 2005. She performs regularly around Southern California.
