  1. The Houston, TX-based punk-pop outfit Riverfenix was formed in late 1995 by singer Carl in conjunction with guitarists Willie and Damon. Later recruiting bassist Adam and drummer Donnie, the group trimmed down to a four-piece when Carl exited, leaving Willie to assume lead vocal duties; debuting in 1996 with the EP G.B.O.H., Riverfenix resurfaced a year later with a self-titled full-length on Drive-Thru.
