Rain

Born Jung Ji Hoon in Seoul, South Korea, 23 year-old Rain (or "Bi" in Korean) is one of Asia's biggest pop music superstars. Just like his idols Michael Jackson and Usher, Rain is a multi-talented entertainer gifted in both song and dance. He began his career in the 6th grade as part of the boy band Fanclub and would later end up as a back up dancer for popular Korean singer Park Ji Yoon before striking out on his own. Since 2002, Rain has released 3 albums, all of which have become international hits. His first album, entitled Bad Guy, featured a hit single of the same name and "Instead of Saying Goodbye." His second album, Running Away from the Sun also featured an eponymous smash hit. In 2004, he released his third album It's Raining would go on to sell over a million copies in Asia. 2005 saw Rain launch Rainy Day tour in Asia selling out each concert from Japan to Taipei He has also won numerous awards all over Asia, such as the MTV Japan Best Buzz Asia Award and MTV Korea's best Male Artist Award.
