Full Biography

  1. The indie punk four-piece called Moxiestarpark relies on sassy three-part harmonies and solid attitude. Comprised of Farrell Burk (guitar), Wednesday (bass), Katy Cocozzello (percussion), and Pete Smith (drums), Moxiestarpark was originally tapped as MOXIE at their start in 1998. Changing their lineup from female drummer Lindsey Weinstein to Trip Mocker hardcore percussionist Smith lead to the band's tight debut, The Floor, that same year. It went on to critical acclaim in the New York Post, SPIN Online, and Newsday, thanks to their distribution deal with Ryko as well as two cuts -- "Suburbia" and "Sorry" -- being picked up by the WB's syndicated teen drama Dawson's Creek. Two years later, Blinding Blaring Twinkle was released . ~ MacKenzie Wilson, Rovi
