August 19 [10:00 EDT] -- Eighties star Howard Devoto, the former frontman for Magazine, was impressed enough with Mansun's recent album, "Attack Of The Grey Lantern," to contact the band and tell them so.

Now Britain's Dot Music reports that Devoto has co-written one of the tracks on a new Mansun EP, "Closed For Business." Devoto wrote lyrics for the song "Everybody Must Win." The EP is due out in late September.
