There are really only two ways things can go when you name your second album Breakthrough: Either you top the charts and walk around with a big grin feeling validated for your confidence, or the CD tanks, and you're left feeling, well, broken.

Luckily for sunshiny pop singer Colbie Caillat, the former will be the case next week when her second album hits #1 in its chart debut, thanks to sales of nearly 106,000 and a push from the hit single "Fallin' for You."

According to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan, Caillat will lead the parade of new titles in the top 10, which also includes Christian rockers Skillet, whose Awake will land just behind at #2 (68,000) and Miley Cyrus' Wal-Mart exclusive Time of Our Lives EP, which debuts at #3 (62,000). While the impressively robust Kings of Leon firmly hold down the #4 spot as their nearly year-old Only by the Night saw a 15 percent increase in sales from the previous week (52,000), experimental British songstress Imogen Heap debuts strongly at #5 with her everything and the kitchen sink album, Ellipse (48,000).

Last week's #1, country queen Reba McEntire, drops down to #6, as sales for Keep on Loving You fell by 56 percent (42,000). She's followed by George Strait's Twang #7 (41,000), the Black Eyed Peas' The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) (#8, 36,000), Taylor Swift's Fearless (#9, 34,000) and the week's only other top 10 debut, Now That's What I Call Country, Vol. 2 (#10, 33,000).

Just outside the top tier, at #12, is former founding Destiny's Child member LeToya's second solo album, Lady Love (33,000), leading the darker third effort from British buzz band Arctic Monkeys, Humbug (#15, 28,000) and the latest from Internet sensation Ingrid Michaelson, Everybody (#18, 23,000).

After several years out of the spotlight, Hasidic rapper Matisyahu makes a soft landing at #19 with his second major-label album, Light (22,000), which bests the rap return of actress/MC Queen Latifah, Persona (#25, 18,000), her first hip-hop album since 2003. And, just a few years after the use of their hit "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" in an iPod ad made them the next big thing, Australian hard-rock revivalists Jet land in the #27 slot with their third album, Shaka Rock (17,000).

Look for more diva action at the top next week as Whitney Houston is expected to easily snag the #1 spot with her latest attempted comeback, I Look to You, her first album in seven years. There will also be bows from Trey Songz, Pitbull, the Used, Chevelle and the always surprising Insane Clown Posse.

With more than 100 awards handed out over the course of seven hours, you'd think the Grammys would have covered all their bases. But after sitting through the broadcast and sifting through the winners, we couldn't help but think that there are a few more honors that should have been handed out.

So for your consideration, we humbly offer up our first ever Mo' Grammys:

Wish You Were Here Award: Rick Rubin, a legendary figure who generates a ton of Grammys and a ton of love. Would have been great to see him shine in the spotlight.

Best Foreign Film, Short Subject: John Mayer, for answering in Japanese when Ryan Seacrest asked about a rumored romance with Jessica Simpson.

Björk Memorial Grammy: Imogen Heap, for going beyond the swan and bringing the whole pond, lily pads and all (see "Justin, T.I. And John Mayer's Suits Show Up Ladies' Sequins On Grammy Red Carpet").

Best Oscar Performance: Beyoncé, who killed it with a passionate performance of "Listen," even though it wasn't up for a Grammy. Tune in two weeks from now, though, to see how it does at the Oscars, where it actually is nominated.

Best Shout-Out: Bill O'Reilly, sarcastically saluted by Ludacris after the rapper's win for Best Rap Album (see "Timberlake Rocks; Blige Weeps; Chicks, Chilis Clean Up At Grammys"). Runner-up: Nelson Muntz, the the "ha-ha"-spewing "Simpsons" bully quoted by Dixie Chick Natalie Maines (alas, Principal Skinner remains overlooked on Grammy night once again).

Duo We Hope Never Cut an Album: The presenting duo of Rihanna and David Spade — we're begging you, don't even think about it. Runner-up: the presenting duo of Queen Latifah and Al Gore (though we're sure Al's got mad flow).

Coolest Mo-Fo of the Night: Prince, rising from beneath the stage, simply saying, "One word: Beyoncé," and taking a bow. That's how cool is done, kids. Runner-up: T.I. — he's onstage, he's selling me Chevys, he's everywhere.

Bad Move of the Night: Grammy producers for starting the "get off the stage" music when living legends Tony Bennett and Stevie Wonder were accepting the night's first award. We're sorry, were they already behind schedule five minutes into the show? And do you have someone bigger than these two that we need to get to? Runner-up: Rascal Flatts frontman Gary LeVox, for playing air guitar during his band's performance.

Kleenex Lifetime Achievement Award: Mary J. Blige, who always delivers the emotion and the waterworks — and who seemed to be misty-eyed on the red carpet before the show even started.

Hot Look of the Night: OK Go, who somehow covered themselves from head to toe in a grandmother's old couch. Big ups for bringing some much-needed irreverence.

Best Use of the "Blair Witch" Cam: Justin Timberlake. Holding that thing that close to your face is a brave move for a man who was battling the flu.

Swashbuckler of the Night: Béla Fleck and the Flecktones bassist Victor Wooten, who took the stage dressed as a pirate, striking a blow for buccaneers everywhere.

Best Job of the Night: Shawn Hatosy, for his role in Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around ... Comes Around" video, which premiered during our Grammy preshow. Shawn shows up, slams some drinks and makes out with Scarlett Johansson. Sure, he also gets punched by Justin, but how bad can that be?

The Golden Horseshoe Award: My Grammy Moment winner and JT duet partner Robyn Troup, the luckiest person in the entire Staples Center on Sunday night. Seriously, meet us in Vegas — an hour at the craps table is all we ask.

It's no secret — particularly to various employees at Gambleversity.com, MyBookie.org and/or BetOnAnythingThatMoves.net — that we here at MTV News enjoy the occasional foray into the exhilarating world of wagering.

Of course, the key word here is occasional. But with Sunday's Grammy Awards on the horizon, we convened the MTV News Bet-ological Braintrust — which is really nothing more than a couple of writers and "Hammerin' " Hank Goldberg on speakerphone — and determined just which of the Grammy's 108 categories are most ripe for some sweet speculation (see "Mary J. Blige, Chili Peppers Top Grammy Nominations List" and "Reunited Police To Kick Off Grammy Awards").

While there are plenty of intriguing possibilities — the battle between Eddie Blazonczyk's Versatones' Batteries Not Included and Lenny Gomulka & the Chicago Push's As Sweet as Candy for Best Polka Album should be a barn-burner — we decided to focus on the Best New Artist category.

After all, since Best New Artist debuted way back in 1960, no other Grammy category has been so perplexing, so spotty and so downright hit-or-miss. To wit: Past Best New Artists include A Taste of Honey (chosen over Elvis Costello), Christopher Cross (over the Pretenders) and — most famously — Milli Vanilli (over people who actually sang on their records), along with more lasting artists like the Beatles, Bobby Darin and Mariah Carey.

As such, it's a difficult field to handicap, but we like a challenge — especially one that involves someone named Imogen.

So after crunching the numbers and weighing the odds, here is our take on who will be hoisting the Best New Artist award on Grammy night:

Corinne Bailey Rae

Why She'll Win: History. From 1997-2003, a solo female artist took home the Best New Artist award each year, including coffee-shop idols Paula Cole and Norah Jones. And even before that run, the Recording Academy had shown an infatuation with girls-with-guitars (see past winners like Tracy Chapman and Sheryl Crow). Also, Rae penned "Put Your Records On," a nominee for Song of the Year and one of the year's most ubiquitous tracks on Adult Contemporary radio — which is important, considering that the nominees for this entire category seem to have been selected by fans of Adult Contemporary radio.

Why She Won't: Again, history: Since 2003, the award has gone to a hard-rockin' Goth quintet (Evanescence), a not-rockin' Cali quintet (Maroon 5) and John Legend.

Odds: 3:2

Carrie Underwood

Why She'll Win: Well, she's sold nearly 5 million copies of her debut album, Some Hearts; won both the Horizon Award (roughly, the country version of the Best New Artist) and Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2006 CMA Awards; and was named Oklahoman of the Year by Oklahoma Today magazine. Oh yeah, and in 2005, she won a little show called "American Idol." With all that on her side, it's difficult to think of reasons why Underwood won't win Best New Artist. Except ...

Why She Won't: ... she's a country artist, and this ain't the CMAs. In the past 20 years, only two country singers have won the Best New Artist Grammy, though given the whole "Idol" thing, it's entirely possible that voters will overlook that. Add to that the fact that she's sold a lot of records, and she's a very good bet — but not as good as Corinne Bailey Rae.

Odds: 3:1

James Blunt

Why He'll Win: He's kind of a male version of Bailey Rae: a good looking, soccer-mom approved purveyor of light, breezy balladry — but with a penchant for dating models. His "You're Beautiful" was the ubiquitous song of 2005, which Grammy logic dictates would make him an obvious choice for Best New Artist award in 2007 (remember, common sense doesn't always apply). Plus, it doesn't hurt that the tune is also nominated for both Record and Song of the year.

Why He Won't: Perhaps growing tired of the kind of snarky commentary about the Best New Artist Award you've been reading right here, Academy voters have seemingly shied away from bestowing the award on one-hit-wonder candidates in recent years — and if Blunt doesn't have all the markings of a one-and-done guy, well, then we'll eat our Vegas-approved gambling visors.

Odds: 8:1

Chris Brown

Why He'll Win: If Academy voters are looking to cast their stamp of approval on a rising star, then Brown is clearly their guy. Not yet 18, he's already recorded a platinum-plus album and starred in a certified box-office blockbuster ("Stomp The Yard"), plus, we hear he's quite popular with the young ladies. If he did win Best New Artist, he wouldn't be the first multi-platform guy to do so, but he would be the first in quite a while: way back in 1961 comic/TV star Bob Newhart took home the BNA trophy for his stand-up album Button Down Mind. (Incidentally, this is probably the first paragraph in the history of the written word to find parallels between Chris Brown and Bob Newhart.)

Why He Won't: He's very young — after all, we're talking about the Grammys here, not the Kid's Choice Awards. Plus, it's scientifically proven that Academy members react to throngs of squealing girls like Dracula reacts to sunlight.

Odds:11:1

Imogen Heap

Why She'll Win: A betting person would say there's no way Heap wins. It's debatable whether even half of the American record-buying public has heard of her, let alone her music. Still, crazier things have been known to happen ...

Why She Won't: Without resorting to the Internet, can you name three Imogen Heap songs?

Odds: 20:1
