If you thought that nostalgia tours were confined to the summer amphitheater circuit, think again. Starting in October, three artists from the '80s college radio scene -- the Mission UK, Gene Loves Gezebel and former Alarm leader Mike Peters -- will be hitting clubs across the country for what's being dubbed "The Resurrection Tour."
The tour will coincide with the release of the Mission UK's upcoming album, "Resurrection: The Greatest Hits"; however, fans should be warned that the album does not include the original versions of "Deliverance," "Wasteland," "Butterfly On A Wheel," or any of their other Mission UK faves. Mission frontman Wayne Hussey "updated" (read: re-recorded) the band's most popular songs for the album.
The Mission UK aren't the only act on the tour plugging new product: Gene Loves Gezebel will be supporting their recently released "VII," while Mike Peters will be performing songs from his most recent solo album, "Rise"; Peters also plans to perform
songs from the Alarm's catalog. (A further note for '80s college rock fans: Billy Duffy of the Cult plays guitar and co-wrote many of the songs on "Rise.")
Here's where the Resurrection Tour will be hitting:

10/16 - Boston, MA @ Avalon Ballroom
10/18 - New York, NY @ Irving Plaza
10/20 - Washington DC @ 9:30 Club
10/21 - Philadelphia, PA @ Trocadero
10/22 - Pittsburgh, PA @ Metropol
10/23 - Columbus, OH @ Newport Music Hall
10/24 - Cleveland, OH @ Agora Theatre
10/25 - Chicago, IL @ House Of Blues
10/26 - Milwaukee, WI @ The Rave
10/27 - Minneapolis, MN @ First Avenue
10/28 - Omaha, NE @ The Ranch Bowl
10/30 - Denver, CO @ Lodo Music Hall
10/31 - Salt Lake City, UT @ Club Axis
11/2 - San Francisco, CA @ the Fillmore
11/4 - Seattle, WA @ Fenix Above Ground
11/5 - Portland, OR @ The Aladdin
11/6 - Reno, NV @ Reno Hilton/The Garage
11/8 - Las Vegas, NV @ House Of Blues
11/9 - Santa
