Full Biography

  1. Randy Muller of Brass Construction (the number one R&B hit "Movin'") produced the sole LP and only charting single from the five-man vocal group First Circle. Their lineup was lead singer Albert Lee, Larry Marsden, Glenn "Chango" Everette, Anthony McEwan, and Richard Sinclair. The pumping single "Workin' Up a Sweat" b/w "You're on My Mind" charted number 49 R&B in spring 1987. Muller, who had produced hits on Salsoul acts Raphael Cameron and Skyy, helmed First Circle's 1987 EMI America LP Boys' Night Out, which was issued April 1987. The follow-up single was "Miracle Worker" and, like "Workin' Up a Sweat," became a post-release collectible. ~ Ed Hogan, Rovi
