Full Biography

The U.K. dance trio Dirty Vegas came together in 2001 with an ambition to redefine Europe's ever-changing dance scene. DJ/producer Paul Harris was a prominent face among London's Milk Bar circuit in the late '90s. Musician/DJ Ben Harris owned a record store and singer Steve Smith flirted with various indie rock bands. First single "Days Go By" was a Top 20 hit in England in late 2001. It gained momentum in the U.S. several months later with a spot in car commercial for the Mitsubishi Eclipse. Dirty Vegas' full-length studio effort appeared on Capitol in June 2002. A pair of mix albums, A Night at the Tables and The Trip, baited fans until Dirty Vegas returned with their second studio album, One. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, All Music Guide
