Named after a speakeasy that was housed in New York City's famed Chrysler Building in the 1930's, The Cloud Room is a Brooklyn-based quartet that forges wistful, Kinks-esque pop with New York rock and New Order-inspired electronica. The band features J on guitars and vocals, Jon Petrow on bass, Benjamin Nugent on the electric piano and drummer Jason Pharr. For their self-titled debut, The Cloud Room worked with renowned indie producer Chris Zane (Calla, Human Television, Les Savy Fav). The album features the ethereal, yet addictive lead single "Hey, Now Now".
