Full Biography

  1. Seven-piece chamber folk-pop band Canada began in late 2004 when a group of friends gathered in a basement and later a farm to write what would soon become the How Dare You EP and the debut full-length This Cursed House, released on Quite Scientific Records. The latter, released in June 2006, was recorded on a soundboard used in the early '80s to mix segments of the original Star Wars films. The Ann Arbor, MI, troupe -- multi-instrumentalists Steven Rajewski, Joe Scott, Amy Sumerton, Eileen Brownell, Ryan Howard, and the nearly identically named Aaron Saul and Aaron Shaul -- played their first show in August 2005 in Detroit and later toured with Page France and Saturday Looks Good to Me. ~ Kenyon Hopkin, Rovi
