Sugar Ray, Civ, the Mermen, Full on the Mouth and Big Wreck are among the bands contributing songs to "Road Rash 3D," the next installment in the motorcycle combat video game series.

The game sends players racing through dangerous canyons and over freeways, using any means necessary to finish first. "Road Rash 3D" hits stores at the end of April, and will be accompanied by the release of an enhanced CD soundtrack album for the game.

In related news, Civ will be joining Biohazard, Sick of It All, Sub Zero and other New York City hardcore bands for a March 29 concert at Tramp's in Manhattan to benefit a Krishna-run organization that provides emergency food relief for the homeless.
