Audiovent

Audiovent is an alternative rock foursome hailing from Calabasas, CA. Vocalist Jason Boyd, guitarist Benjamin Einziger, bassist Paul Fried, and drummer Jamin Wilcox were originally known as Vent, forming in the early '90s after being inspired by the emerging mainstream alternative rock scene. After releasing one independent album in 1999, the band found group therapy to be an effective way to deal with their growing popularity. Determined to remain friends, they learned how to communicate better and used that newfound knowledge when Atlantic Records came to sign the group. Renaming themselves Audiovent, they stepped into the studio in 2001 to record Dirty Sexy Knights in Paris, their official debut under their new name. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
