  1. A side project led by Brujeria guitarist Dino Cazares that is tighter and somewhat more up-tempo than that of his original band, Asesino (assassin in Spanish) featured a whos-who of early 21st century metal players, including members of Static X, Sepultura, Hatebreed, Icepick, and Fear Factory. Signed to Odio records, the group released two albums, Corridos de Muerte and Cristo Satánico. As with Cazares' other band, Brujeria, Asesino's lyrics are all in Spanish. The membership of the band in 2008 was Cazares on guitar, Tony Campos (of Static X) on bass and vocals, and Emilio Márquez on drums. ~ Chris True, Rovi
