Blink-182 drummer Scott Raynor, 19, has left the band, reportedly to return to school, and is being replaced by now-former Aquabats drummer Travis Barker.

Barker had been a relatively recent addition to the Aquabats, replacing Rod Arellano. Barker, in turn, has been replaced in the Aquabats by Gabe Palmer.

Barker joins Blink-182 bandmates Mark Hoppus (bass) and Tom Delonge (guitar). The punkish, San Diego-based trio, formerly known as Blink, will be kicking off a new cross-country tour beginning July 28 in Ventura, Calif. They're supporting their latest single, "Josie," from their album "Dude Ranch."

The Aquabats, best known for their caped crusader ska persona, are currently on the road with the Warped tour.

Aquabats Hook Up With Bobcat For TV Pilot

The California ska-rock outfit known as the Aquabats just shot a pilot for a self-titled TV series with the help of comedian Bobcat Goldthwaite.

Bobcat was behind the camera for the pilot, in which the band defends its homeland of Aquabania! from an evil space monster named M. The band hopes that the show, titled "Aquabats!," will soon be picked up by a television network for the fall.

The 'Bats, who are on this summer's Vans Warped tour, co-wrote the pilot with Goldthwaite, who is expected to be named executive producer of the series when it is picked up. Bobcat is a longtime friend of the band, and directed the group's video for "Super Rad!" off of their latest album, "Fury of the Aquabats!"

Of course, the series will also feature music from the band, which re-recorded their "Theme Song!" for use in the show.
