Jay-Z's female cohort Amil, MC Lyte and Bay Area rapper Dru Down will star in the socially conscious urban comedy "Love Chronicles."
The MCs will appear in "The Playa," the first of three vignettes, about a womanizer who learns a little about karma after he mistreats a Haitian singer played by LisaRaye ("The Players Club").
</p><p>A spokesperson said Snoop Dogg, Doggy's Angels and the Mo Thugs Family are expected to make cameo appearances in the film, which is currently shooting with director Delvin Rutledge in Los Angeles. It will be released in theaters later this year.
</p><p>The soundtrack will feature MC Lyte, Dru Down and Beenie Man.

<P> Roc-A-Fella femme fatale Amil, perhaps best known for her appearance on Jay-Z's "Can I Get A...," will be joined by the Roc camp as well as Beyonc&#233 of Destiny's Child and Bad Boy Records vocalist Carl Thomas on her first full-length, "All Money Is Legal."</P> <P>Amil hooks up with Jay-Z for three tracks on the LP, including "Heard It All Before," "That's Right," and "4 Da Fam," which also features Memphis Bleek and Beanie Sigel.</P> <P>The track "Quarrels" sees Amil pairing up with R&B crooner Thomas, and she can be heard singing as well as rapping on the track "Get Down." Set for single release on July 5 is "I Got That" featuring Beyonc&#233.</P> <P>The album will feature production by Roc Wilder, Tyfife, old-school rapper K-Rob, and The Trackmasterz, among others. "All Money Is Legal" is currently set for release in early August.</P>

<P> With "The Truth," Philly native Beanie Sigel steps out from behind Jay-Z and into the number five slot on next week's "Billboard" album chart after moving more than 155,000 copies of his debut album during its first week in stores.<P> The Roc-A-Fella rapper will soon be teaming up with Jay once again for the upcoming album from The Dynasty, a supergroup featuring both performers along with Memphis Bleek and Amil. Sigel recently spoke to MTV News about the upcoming collaborative effort.<P> <a href="/sitewide/utils/playmedia.jhtml?id=1438307"><B>"Me, Jay, Memphis Bleek, and Amil, we all want to do an album together,"</a></B> Sigel said of The Dynasty. <a href="/sitewide/utils/playmedia.jhtml?id=1438307"><B>"So that's gonna be crazy.
