  1. Formed in 1994, Ajalon is a Seattle-based progressive rock band rooted heavily in their Christian beliefs. They took their name from the Bible (Joshua 10:12), a rough translation of their name being "grace in the midst of the fire." When Rick Wakeman (probably best known for his work in Yes) heard the band in 1996, he signed them to his label, Hope Records.
