André Hunebelle

French filmmaker Andre Hunebelle worked on many competently-made mainstream films as a director, producer and screenwriter. Before entering cinema in the '40s as a producer, Hunebelle was a master glassmaker. In 1948, he became a director and continued in that vein through the mid-'70s.
