L.M. Kit Carson was a screenwriter, director and actor best known for writing the script to the distinguished film David Holzman's Diary (1968). He also wrote the adaptation screenplay for Paris, Texas (1984) and the sequel to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Carson also worked as a sometimes actor and producer, helping Wes Anderson launch his short film Bottle Rocket into a feature in 1996. Carson died in 2014 at age 73. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
