A blond leading man of early silent films, Harry Spingler (often erroneously given as "Springler" or "Springier") toured vaudeville from 1908 to 1912 with the Al H. Willetts Company. As a screen actor, Springler played such juvenile leads as the patriotic French soldier in The Ordeal (1914) and Marius in Frank Lloyd's version of Les Misérables (1918). He left films in favor of the stage in the early '20s and died at the Motion Picture House and Hospital in Woodland Hills, CA. ~ Hans J. Wollstein, Rovi
