Actress Jane Keckley was already well-established in grey-haired character roles when she made her screen debut in 1910. Her silent screen credits include George Washington's Escape (1911), Huck and Tom (1918, as Mrs. Thatcher) and several Cecil B. DeMille productions. Active well into the talkie era, she essayed innumerable bits as landladies, housemothers and schoolmarms. Jane Keckley was employed as a stock player at Paramount at the time of her retirement in 1941. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
